Welcome the Lower Gwynedd Farmers’ Market

Last season, the inaugural season of the Farm Stand at Ambler Yards, met with great success. Many Lower Gwynedd and Ambler residence took advantage of the local produce and meats Clay Brick Farms offered at the stand. Because of this success, Ambler Yards has decided to expand the farm stand into a full-fledged farmers’ market, the Lower Gwynedd Farmers’ Market at Ambler Yards.

Alice Bakery | Ambler, PA

Dennis Darr’s French-inspired bistro, bakery, custom cake specialty shop and confectionary is now a vendor at the Lower Gwynedd Farmers’ Market. A farmers’ market veteran, look for Alice Bakery to bring breads, muffins, cupcakes, prepared foods and more!

Feine Coffee | Lower Gwynedd, PA

Come by, fuel up, and make yourself at home with one of our featured drinks, handcrafted by friendly baristas who know not to over-question the under-caffeinated. ‘Feine has been around for a while but just recently opened at Ambler Yards. Treat yourself while you’re shopping at the market with an Iced Coffee and buy some locally roasted beans for the road!

Sharrah Orchards | Orrtanna, PA

Sharrah Orchards is a father son partnership now in its 5th generation. They are a small family farm with about 110 acres of produce. Apples are their biggest production at 90 acres and 16 different varieties. They also have many varieties of peaches from the beginning of July until the middle/end of September.

Dave’s Backyard Farms | Huntingdon Valley, PA

Dave’s Backyard Farms is among the first farms of its kind in the United States. They currently grow vegetables on one backyard, but intend to lease multiple yards in the Huntingdon Valley area beginning in 2019. They grow over 20 different vegetables and herbs that sell at farmer’s markets, to local restaurants, and to buying clubs.

Carversville Farm Foundation| Mechanicsville, PA

A non-profit, produces fresh sustainable food specifically for donation to populations who lack access to a balanced diet; offers farm apprenticeships, workshops and facilitates information exchange; and nurtures organic farms through cooperative purchasing and other programs. Utilizing advanced sustainable farming methods, the farm works to provide these services while simultaneously regenerating the agro-ecosystem.
